What we collect

When you book a roof inspection or ask for a call back, we collect what you type into the form:

• your name, phone number, email address and the address of the house
• the note you add about what’s going on, and the time you picked
• which of our pages you booked from and the ad campaign that brought you there, if any

We also count taps on our phone number. We don’t store your IP address; a scrambled version is kept only to stop spam.

How we use it

Only to schedule and carry out your inspection, to contact you about it, and to see which of our pages works best. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone else, apart from the services listed below that run this site.

Where it’s kept

Bookings are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. To check that your address is real we look it up with the U.S. Census Bureau’s address service, and to check your email we look up its domain. Booking alerts are sent to our own phones.

Google Calendar

We connect our own Google Calendar to this site. The site reads only when we’re busy, so it doesn’t offer those times, and it adds your booked inspection to our calendar (your name, phone, email, address and note). It doesn’t read the details of other events, and it uses Google data for nothing else. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to serve you and keep normal business records. Ask us and we’ll delete your details.
